Benjamin Genocchio (born 1969) has spent two decades in the visual arts in New York working as an art critic, print magazine and website editor, art fair director and art gallery executive. He is currently director at large for the Shoshana Wayne Gallery Los Angeles and New York. Prior to this he was Vice President of Galerie Gmurzynska, the Swiss-based art gallery with branches in Zurich, St. Moritz, Zugg and New York.

Benjamin Genocchio has a Ph.D in art history with a specialization in Latin American art. He was formerly the founder and first editor-in-chief of Artnet News, the world's most popular art news site by the number of readers, and previously worked as an art critic and correspondent for The Australian Newspaper and then The New York Times. He was the editor-in-chief of Art+Auction  magazine, and the art news website artinfo.com, and is the author, editor and co-editor of 9 books as well as over 2,000 articles, essays, catalogs and reviews.
